How to Challenge SSC Results in Jessore Board

Jashore Board SSC Result Challenge: Online Application & Result

The 2026 Jashore Board SSC result challenge application period has ended. Applications were accepted online from 11 to 17 August 2026 through the official Education Board re-scrutiny portal. The fee was Tk 150 for each paper, and the changed results were published by Jashore Board on 10 September 2026.

The previous Teletalk SMS method was not used for SSC 2026. Students applying in a future year must follow that year’s official notice because the application portal, fee, dates and payment methods may change again.

Information last checked: 13 October 2026.

What is an SSC result challenge?

An SSC result challenge is officially called result re-scrutiny. It allows a candidate to request a formal check of the processing of one or more examination papers.

Re-scrutiny should not be confused with sitting for the examination again. It is also not an unrestricted request for a new subjective assessment of every answer. The board processes the application according to its official re-scrutiny rules and corrects the published result when a relevant error is found.

A candidate may consider applying when a published grade appears inconsistent with expectations, particularly when the result affects passing status, GPA or eligibility for the next stage of education. An application does not guarantee that the result will change.

What changed in the SSC 2026 application process?

Older Jashore Board instructions used a Teletalk prepaid SIM and SMS formats beginning with RSC JES. That process was replaced for SSC 2026.

For 2026:

  • Students applied through a dedicated online portal.
  • A Teletalk SIM was not required to submit the application.
  • Roll and registration numbers were entered online.
  • The board was selected from a drop-down list.
  • Students selected the papers they wanted re-scrutinised.
  • Fees could be paid through bKash, Nagad or Sonali Seba.
  • No manual application was accepted.

Do not send an old RSC JES SMS unless a future official notice specifically restores that method.

How did the 2026 online application work?

The following steps describe the official SSC 2026 process. They are preserved as a practical reference, but future candidates must compare them with the latest notice.

  1. Open the official portal at rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd.
  2. Enter the SSC roll number and registration number.
  3. Select the correct education board from the board list.
  4. Submit the details and provide an active mobile number.
  5. Review the subject-wise result displayed by the portal.
  6. Select one or more papers for re-scrutiny.
  7. Click the fee-payment option and review the total amount.
  8. Pay through an available method such as bKash, Nagad or Sonali Seba.
  9. Return to the application portal after payment.
  10. Click the final submission button to complete the application.

Important: Paying the fee alone did not complete the 2026 application. The candidate also had to return to the portal and submit the paid application.

How much was the result challenge fee?

The SSC 2026 fee was Tk 150 for each examination paper.

This distinction matters for subjects containing two papers. The official 2026 instructions required candidates challenging a two-paper subject to apply for both papers. Therefore, a two-paper subject could require a total fee of Tk 300.

The portal displayed the payable total before payment. Fees already paid were non-refundable, and paid paper selections could not be cancelled.

Do not assume that Tk 150 will remain the fee for SSC 2027 or a later examination. The amount in the current session’s official notice will take priority.

Could applicants select multiple papers?

Yes. The 2026 portal allowed a candidate to select one or more eligible papers. It also allowed additional papers to be added after an earlier application, subject to a new payment for the additional selections.

Before payment, an unpaid selection could be removed or changed. Once its fee had been paid, the selected paper could not be cancelled and the fee would not be refunded.

What information was required?

Candidates needed:

  • SSC roll number
  • SSC registration number
  • Correct education board
  • An active mobile number
  • The papers they wanted checked
  • A supported payment method with sufficient balance

The mobile number was important because the result publication notice could be sent to it. Candidates should use a number they control and can access throughout the process.

Is the 2026 application still open?

No. The SSC 2026 application window closed on 17 August 2026. The changed-only result was subsequently published on 10 September 2026.

A candidate cannot submit a late 2026 application through an unofficial website, Facebook page, agent or personal mobile number. Future candidates should wait for the next official result and re-scrutiny notice.

How to check the Jashore Board re-scrutiny result

  1. Open the official Jashore Board SSC Corner.
  2. Find the notice for the relevant examination year’s changed re-scrutiny result.
  3. Open or download the official PDF.
  4. Use the PDF search function and enter the SSC roll number.
  5. Check the subject code, old grade, new grade, old GPA and new GPA carefully.

The official 2026 PDF is labelled “Re-Scrutiny Result (Changed Only)”. It contains candidates whose published result changed after re-scrutiny. A roll number that does not appear in this changed-only list generally indicates that no change was published for that candidate, but students should verify through the board’s official channels if uncertain.

What should future SSC candidates do?

  • Check the official notice immediately after SSC results are published.
  • Use only the application URL linked by an education board or official government source.
  • Confirm whether the process is online, SMS-based or uses another method.
  • Check whether the fee applies per subject or per paper.
  • Complete the process before the exact deadline.
  • Save the application confirmation and payment receipt.
  • Keep the registered mobile number active until the result is published.

An old YouTube video, social-media post or previous-year article may contain a process that no longer works. The current official notice always takes priority.

Safety checks during application

  • Confirm that the portal uses an official government domain.
  • Do not share an OTP, PIN or payment password with another person.
  • Review the roll and registration numbers before submitting.
  • Check every selected paper before making payment.
  • Do not pay a personal number claiming to be a board official.
  • Keep screenshots or receipts showing successful payment and submission.
