Official Name and EIIN
The Jashore Education Board directory uses the name Municipal Preparatory Secondary School. The commonly used English name is Municipal Preparatory High School Jessore.
When checking admission information, examination records or Board notices, use EIIN 115955. EIIN is more dependable than an English spelling because school names can appear differently across websites and documents.
Is the School Currently Active?
One third-party business directory marks its old listing as closed. However, that status conflicts with more authoritative and recent education records:
- The Jashore Board institution portal is active in 2026.
- The Board’s institution directory lists EIIN 115955 in Jashore Sadar.
- The official SSC 2026 centre-wise list includes 108 candidates from the school.
- The school was also designated as examination centre JASHORE–424 for other institutions in SSC 2026.
These records indicate that the educational institution was active for SSC 2026. The outdated business-directory label should not be used to declare the school closed.
Location and Corrected Address
The school is located on MMC Stadium Road in Jashore city, near the Municipal Park area. Public map records provide the more detailed address Akbar Manzil, 39 MMC Stadium Road, Jashore 7400.
The previous article incorrectly ended this address with “Hyderabad.” That reference has been removed because the school is in Jashore, Bangladesh.

Before travelling, confirm that the map result displays the school’s Bangla or English name and the MMC Stadium Road location.
Establishment Year
The sign at the school entrance displays 1969 as the establishment year. Anyone requiring the date for an official document or historical publication should still verify it with the school administration.
Admission Information
Admission dates, eligible classes, available seats, application fees and selection procedures can change each academic year. Guardians should follow the latest school or government admission notice instead of relying on an old schedule.
For current admission information:
- Check the official Board institution portal.
- Review its admission information and admission form sections when updated.
- Check the applicable government school-admission portal or notice.
- Visit the school office on MMC Stadium Road.
- Confirm the class, shift, application deadline and selection method.
Documents That May Be Required
The exact requirements must be taken from the current admission notice. Depending on the class and application process, guardians may need:
- A completed online or printed application form
- A copy of the student’s birth registration certificate
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Copies of the parents’ or guardians’ identification documents
- A previous report card or academic transcript
- A transfer certificate, where applicable
- Proof of address or quota documents, when required
- Payment confirmation for an official application fee
Do not pay an admission fee through a personal mobile-financial-service number unless that payment method appears in a verified official notice.
SSC 2026 Candidate Information
The Jashore Board’s official SSC 2026 centre-wise institution list provides the following figures for Municipal Preparatory Secondary School:
| Category | Number of candidates |
|---|---|
| Science | 49 |
| Humanities | 51 |
| Business Studies | 8 |
| Male | 68 |
| Female | 40 |
| Total | 108 |
For SSC 2026, the school’s candidates were listed under centre JASHORE–301, with Government Girls High School as the centre institution. This arrangement applies to that examination year only and may change in future years.
The male and female candidate figures show that the school’s SSC 2026 cohort included both boys and girls. Current admission eligibility should still be checked from the relevant admission notice.
Municipal Preparatory School as an SSC Centre
The same official document designates Municipal Preparatory Secondary School as JASHORE–424 for SSC 2026. The following institutions were assigned to that centre:
- Sammilani Institution
- Police Line Secondary School
- Sacred Heart Secondary School
- Momin Nagar Secondary School
- Balia Vekutia Secondary School
- Jashore Collectorate School and College
Students must follow the centre name printed on their own admit card. A school serving as an examination centre in one year does not guarantee that it will have the same role in another year.
Academic Groups
The SSC 2026 Board record includes candidates from:
- Science
- Humanities
- Business Studies
This confirms the groups represented in the 2026 SSC cohort. It should not be treated as a guarantee that every group accepts new students in every class or session.
How to Check SSC Results
