Jessore Police Line is an integral part of the law enforcement agencies of Bangladesh situated in the very core of the Jessore district. It is the focal point of police operations, training and community services for the region. Not only is the Jessore Police Line the heart of law and order, it is also the place where police personnel have their schools and memorials to those who sacrificed their lives performing their duties.
Historical Significance
Jessore was one of the first districts founded in the subcontinent during the British ruling period in 1786. ever since, it has contributed as a part of development and security for the district).Jessore Police Lines The role of Jessore Police was crucial during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, where 104 officers became martyrs from the Jessore Police Lines and 4 from Kotowali Thana. Their valour is remembered by memorials in the police lines and Kotowali Thana.

Police Line Secondary School, Jessore
Police Line Secondary School, established in 1952, is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in Jessore. Started as a primary school, it evolved into a secondary school that provides education. It has a dedicated faculty that seeks to promote the academic excellence for which it is well known.
This school is a school under Jessore Education Board. The school’s EIIN (Educational Institute Identification Number) is 115964. It offers a wide curricula of both academic and extra-curricular activities contributing to the overall development of the child.
Community Engagement
Not just a line of proper police control center, rather the police line busy with the local people’s activities as well. The police try to win residents over through numerous outreach activities. To enhance the relationship between the police officials and the people, regular educational initiatives, public safety campaigns, and community events are organized.
