- 1963: Becomes Jessore Junior Training College, one of also three colleges – in Jessore, Feni and Mymensingh. This was a one year course for secondary school students who had just completed their studies.
- 1965 — The college introduced a two-year higher secondary course which was practical-oriented besides theoretical. Teachers could join (and others outside the school).
- 1972: Incorporated as Rajshahi University. Renamed the College of Education. This initiated a B.A. B.Ed program spanning three years.
The college gradually started a one-year B.Ed. B.Ed. honors four years and four-course shared by National University degrees.
